My Thoughts:
As I first started reading Game on I was really irritated by the cheesiness and improbability of the story but as the "plot thickened" it was so over the top I couldn't help but find myself enjoying it more and more.

Legs gets herself into trouble over a man and struggles to fight her way out. She enlists the help of her team and a long-time personal friend to figure it all out. I hope that the next book in the series focuses on my two favorite characters Bod Squad team members, Lisa Bee and Jackson.

A little intrigue, a little sex and plenty of high-tech gadgets. It was James Bond meets Stephanie Plum. Actually I was reminded of the Fox and O'Hare Series series by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg and am looking forward to the next installment. 

My Recommendation: 
Recommended for anyone who loves romantic comedies.

Review: Be Still by Tania L. Ramos

My Thoughts:
I was super exited to read this one because I went to elementary school with the author. Be still is kind of two stories in one. It's the story of Jack's son Travis making peace with his father before his death and the story of Jack in the "in-between" while he's on life support.

I enjoyed both stories but Travis' drama seemed to drag on too far at the end. The resolution seemed like it would have been more natural if it happened earlier in the book. I was really sucked into the beginning of the story but lost a bit of steam finishing the end. Jack's part of the story was a lot more engaging.

I also loved the elements of supernatural. They were well done and not over the top. Overall the book is very well written with beautiful descriptions. 

My Recommendation:
I recommend this one for anyone who loves a good contemporary romance.

My Review:

I was really surprised by how much I loved The Concubine's Gift. When I agreed to read and review it I thought the book was going to be an erotic novel of which I don't mind reading from time to time but this was just a sweet romantic story with a little bit of spice. 

Even though she is really inhibited Bernice blossoms into becoming more comfortable with her sexuality while helping others.  She has a good core of friends that help her manage the visions and what comes with them. I also like the way the problem of the magical powder is resolved. Also there is a side story line that is tied up quite nicely in the end. I highly recommend this one for all contemporary romance lovers.
