Giveaway: Fiber One Gift Pack

Winners: Nora in California and Katrina in Viginia

Best-selling author and food expert Lisa Lillien, AKA Hungry Girl, has given her "seal of approval" to the new Fiber One yogurt, the only leading nonfat yogurt with 50 calories and 5 grams of fiber (20 percent of the Recommended Daily Value). It is also a good source of calcium and vitamins A and D, making this an all-around great choice for dieters and those watching their weights. Each cup includes the creamy, delicious taste you expect from Yoplait, and you don't have to feel guilty about enjoying it. Fiber One is available in a variety of flavors including, Strawberry, Peach, Vanilla and Key Lime Pie (see what Hungry Girl thinks about the new yogurt here!)

MyBlogSpark has given me a chance to recieve my own gift pack in exchange for the review below.

My review of the new Fiber One Yogurt:
I was really excited to participate in this giveaway because I've been dieting since August. So far I've lost about 20 lbs and went from busting out of my size 12 pants to fitting nicely into a size 8. The biggest challenge for me during this time has been food. I did the cookie diet for 2 1/2 months so I only had to worry about coming up with a healthy dinner. Now that I'm off the cookie diet finding the right balance between convenience and calories has been a struggle.

I've already used my nifty little cooler pack and cup. It's perfect to pack my lunch the night before and just grab and go in the morning. This saves me both money and calories when I don't have to make a fast food run at lunch and the new Fiber One yogurt is the perfect snack to satisfy my craving for something sweet while not feeling guilty about eating something yummy.

I used my coupon to buy strawberry yogurt and it was delicious. You can't tell it's only 50 calories and has all that fiber. It's just what I need to shake myself out of the boring diet rut.

For a chance to win a your own "Healthy & Fit Weight Management" gift bag simply tell me a diet secret that works for you. The gift pack includes a Fiber One yogurt VIP coupon (good for a free 4-pack of Fiber One yogurt), cooler pack, and other storage items for you to carry your snacks and yogurt- it's great for work and other on-the-go activities! Two lucky winners will be selected on December 5th.

For extra entries Tweet about the giveaway using the "ShareThis" link at the end of this post or Tweet your own message. Twitter entries can be done once a day, just be sure to leave me the link to your Tweet each time you do.

Giveaway open to US residents only. Please, no PO Boxes. Winners will be selected December 5th and will have 48 hours to respond to the winning email. Please be sure to leave me an email address in your comment if it's not in your profile or your post using anonymous.

2010 Read Your Own Books Challenge

This challenge comes from MizB's Reading Challenges and these are the rules:
  • Pick a number of books you’d like to read in one year
  • Choose those books from your OWN collection
  • Read them between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010
This challenge is a little tough to number. Since I've slowed way down on the number of review books I accept you'd think that reading my own books would be easy but I have 2 things going against me.
  1. I'll be a lot busier in 2010
  2. I'm still joining 6-8 challenges in 2010 so I might need to read books that aren't currently on my shelves to complete the other challenges
I'm going to be a little conservative and say I will read 30 books that are on my shelf as of January 1, 2010 for this challenge. Hopefully that's realistic!

  1. Untraceable by Laura Griffin
  2. Alex Cross's Trial by James Patterson & Richard DiLallo
  3. I, Alex Cross by James Patterson
  4. Spider's Bite by Jennifer Estep
  5. Breakfast in Bed by Robin Kaye
  6. What-the-Dickens: The Story of a Rogue Tooth Fairy by Gregory Maguire
  7. U is for Undertow by Sue Grafton
  8. The Cat Who Blew The Whistle by Lilian Jackson Braun
  9. Revenge of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz
  10. Jailbait Zombie by Mario Acevedo
  11. Werewolf Smackdown by Mario Acevedo

New 2010 Reading Challenge - Read 100+ books

J. Kaye has so many fun challenges and this was my second easiest to complete this year (the audiobook challenge was the easiest). I hit 100 books in May and as of today I've read 196 so I'm sure that I'll meet this challenge. Maybe my goal should be to hit 100 before the date I made it in 2009?? Since I have way more going on now than I did earlier this year I don't think I'll make it but I'm 100% sure I'll get there by December 2010. LOL
