Newly vamped Sarah Dearly wants her normal life back, but fate is fighting against her. She tries to get a regular job and gets staked in the interview, only to be rescued by a masked vampire who calls himself the Red Devil. Then a wallflower-turned-witch curses her, making her a bloodthirsty, sun-allergic nightwalker--the worst vampire there is. As Sarah's nightwalker tendencies make her more dangerous, even to those she loves, she'll have to counteract that curse, unmask the increasingly intriguing Red Devil, and get a commitment from her man, Thierry. But if that's what it takes to secure her happiness, Sarah is ready...even if it means embracing her inner vamp to do it.

My favorite is 2. While Sarah greatly looks forward to attending her high school reunion, Michelle did not attend hers (if there even was one) as she prefers the past to remain where it belongs -- on Facebook.

I completely agree, I won't be going to my reunion.

I like the fact that the author was a waitress and a bartender makes her a down to earth person.

It'sa #3 for me, also, never made it to a reunion yet, and have been told my one friend I didn't miss anyone I'd want to see.

My favorite is #2.
Back in 2001 I got a wild hair and started finding friends and enemys on the computer. I called several people and it was so depressing! I won't do that again. It's better to remember people the way they were. Hm. Maybe I'll write a song. lol!

#4 was my favorite. Funny to think that they took stuff from the Scarlet Pimpernel.

my fav is 5. Two supporting characters from Michelle's non-Immortality Bites book, Angel with Attitude, make an appearance in Stakes & Stilettos to show that all of Michelle's novels take place in the same quirky "universe."

I like #5--there are days I'd like to retreat to a 'quirky' universe!

Really want to try this series out!

My fav fun fact:
4. The Red Devil, the masked vampire vigilante who saves Sarah after a near-fatal staking, was inspired by a mixture of The Scarlet Pimpernel and V for Vendetta.
